BuildingAt Mount Annan Christian College we believe in the Biblical principles of giving. The Bible speaks very clearly about sowing and reaping and when you are considering good soil in which to plant your seed, what better soil could there be than a College which has the heart to significantly and positively impact the lives of the young people all across the Macarthur Region.

Our library has a large range of good quality books and audio visual resources. While we do have budget each year which provides for the purchase of new books, your tax deductible donation can greatly assist us in providing a first class library for our students.

Mount Annan Christian College Scholarship Fund

Mount Annan Christian College Scholarship Fund a new fund that has been established following the AustralianGovernment’s announcement of this new category for tax deductible giving. We are currently seeking endorsement as a deductible gift recipient under item 2.1.13 of Subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. This will mean that all gifts to the scholarship fund over $2.00 will be tax deductible. These funds will be kept in a separate bank account and used solely for the provision of educational scholarship, bursaries and prizes at Mount Annan Christian College.

Mount Annan Christian College currently offers two types of scholarships:

    1. Academic Scholarships. These are for study in Years 7, 9 and 11 and are awarded on merit, based on the results of the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program. Applications for Academic Scholarships are open to all current students and those currently attending other schools who are Australian Citizens and meet the College’s normal enrolment criteria. Please see our Scholarships Page for more information about academic scholarships.
    2. Christian Character Scholarships. These are awarded on merit in conjunction with local churches who have partnered with us in this project. The goal of these scholarships is to provide local ministers to ability to encourage the spiritual growth of their young people by providing very practical pastoral care in the form of a scholarship to a family who might otherwise not be able to send their children to Mount Annan Christian College.

This fund can only operate because of the generosity of people, businesses and churches who believe in the value of private education and in particular Christian based education. As these scholarships are all about building the lives of the young people who will one day become our future leaders, there could be no better “soil” in which to plant our tax deductible giving.
